V. J. Sabu Joseph

Biography:

Film editor V J Sabu Joseph works in the Tamil film industry. He won the 2013–2014 National Film Award for Best Editing for his work on Vallinam.

In 2002, he started his profession as a film editor. Before making a name for himself as an independent editor, he had previously worked as an associate film editor for well-known film editors JN Harsha and Anthony.

His first film, “Aanmai Thavarael,” was edited by him in 2011. For his efforts on Vallinam, he went on to receive a National award (2014).

The Directorate of Film Awards commended the work and mentioned the following: “The editor set an outstanding pace in this sport-based film. The cutting of the match sequences is expertly done.”
