Drishyam 3

Story:

Jeethu Joseph is the writer and director of the upcoming Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller Drishyam 3. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirvad Cinemas, the movie is the third in the Drishyam film series and a follow-up to Drishyam 2 (2021). Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil return to their roles from earlier movies. The main photographic session ran from September 22, 2025, until December 2, 2025. The theatrical release of Drishyam 3 is set for May 21, 2026.

The third Drishyam movie, starring Mohanlal and directed by Jeethu Joseph, is selling out in advance. The movie is getting up for a huge opening and has already made Rs. 2.5 crores from Kerala alone. The second installment of the Drishyam franchise—possibly the largest in Mollywood—missed the opportunity to wreak havoc at the box office because of COVID. Drishyam 3 is now expected to cause chaos along the expected lines. In the USA, where the movie has made over $25,000 from its premiere shows alone, the trend is as striking. It’s interesting to note that Drishyam 3 will not be remade because it will be released in all South Indian languages.
