Theatre“Bendu Apparao R.M.P” is a heartwarming 2009 Telugu romantic comedy, a tale of Bendu Appa Rao, a resourceful Rural Medical Practitioner (RMP), portrayed by Allari Naresh. Directed by E V V Satyanarayana and produced by D. Ramanaidu, the film presents an engaging narrative blended with humor, emotions, and altruism.
In an unexpected turn, Sivaji’s family, comprising his parents and sister, arrives in the village, bringing forth a moment of revelation for Appa Rao. Overwhelmed by guilt upon realizing that he had already spent the money intended for Sivaji’s kin, Appa Rao, driven by his innate compassion, takes a drastic step. He decides to mortgage his own home to a local trader, utilizing the funds for Sivaji’s father’s crucial bypass surgery.
Deeply committed to rectifying his actions and fulfilling his moral obligations, Appa Rao goes a step further. He vows to marry Sivaji’s sister, intending to sacrifice his love for Padma as a gesture of atonement. This selfless act reflects Appa Rao’s unwavering dedication to honor his responsibilities and set things right.
However, the storyline takes a dark twist on the day of the intended wedding. The village’s President, in a twisted and false narrative, accuses Appa Rao of Sivaji’s death and the alleged misappropriation of the money. Fabricating a tale to avoid potential legal repercussions, he attempts to coerce Gayathri, who plays a pivotal role in the unfolding events.
Tragically, fueled by this deceitful misinformation, Gayathri falls victim to this manipulative narrative, believing the false allegations against Appa Rao. This misunderstanding leads to a harrowing moment as Appa Rao is falsely accused, brutally beaten by the enraged villagers due to the misinformation orchestrated against him.
However, amidst this turmoil, justice prevails. Raju, along with the local trader, comes forward to unveil the truth, exposing the deceptive ploy and rescuing Appa Rao from the clutches of this fabricated accusation. The truth emerges, shining light on Appa Rao’s selfless sacrifices and his virtuous intentions.
In a climactic resolution, the genuine understanding and unwavering love between Padma and Appa Rao prevail. Their bond, fortified by honesty and devotion, triumphs over the misconceptions created. Gayathri, enlightened by the truth and understanding their love, accepts and respects Padma and Appa Rao’s profound connection.
The story, amidst its dramatic twists and turns, portrays the indomitable spirit of Appa Rao, his unwavering commitment to rectify his wrongs, and the triumph of truth and genuine love over deception and misunderstanding.
