TheatreActor Sathya, known for his performance in Metro, is set to return with his next film, Robber. The film, written by Metro director Ananda Krishnan, is inspired by a true incident that took place in Chennai.
The first-look poster of Robber was unveiled by actor Sivakarthikeyan, generating excitement among Tamil cinema fans. Directed by SM Pandi, the film is currently in the post-production stage and is slated for a theatrical release by the end of May 2024.
Alongside Sathya, the film features an ensemble cast including Dani Pope, Deepa Shankar, Jayaprakash, Sendrayan, Nishanth, and ‘Raja Rani’ Pandiyan, all playing significant roles. With Ananda Krishnan’s gripping story and screenplay, Robber promises to be an engaging cinematic experience.
