Venugopal’s journey as an actor commenced with the film “Tegimpu,” directed by Ramachandra Rao, in 1994. However, it was his role in the 2010 film “Maryada Ramanna,” directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Rajamouli, that catapulted him to fame. In this film, he portrayed the character of Brahmaji’s father. Notably, he appeared in all of Rajamouli’s films except “Student No. 1,” showcasing a strong professional collaboration with the renowned director.
