After being admitted to the same hospital, Appu and Suchi become friends. When Rajshekhar sets up her marriage to someone else, she vehemently objects and makes an attempt at suicide. Rajshekhar still wants to marry Suchi to a man of his choosing, so he hires goons to assassinate Appu after he comes and saves her.
