He had a vibrant theater career in Mysore and later in Bangalore, where he also worked as an English lecturer at educational institutions.
Avinash’s journey into films commenced with his debut in G. V. Iyer’s “Madhvacharya,” a film that revolved around the life of the twelfth-century enlightened master, Saint Madhva. This film garnered national and state awards. His introduction to mainstream cinema transpired with the Kannada film “Samyuktha,” starring Shivarajkumar.
