TheatreGeetu Mohandas is the director of the upcoming Indian period gangster movie Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth are among the ensemble cast members. Yash and Venkat K. Narayana are co-producing the movie under their own companies, Monster Mind Creations and KVN Productions.
Since it is Yash’s 19th movie as a starring actor, the film was first announced in December 2023 under the preliminary title Yash 19. A few days later, the official title was made public. August 2024 saw the start of principal photography in Bengaluru. Rajeev Ravi is in charge of the cinematography, while Ravi Basrur is in charge of the music. The movie was shot in both Kannada and English at the same time. It is slated to open in theaters across the globe on March 19, 2026, which is also Ugadi.
