Biography:

Tara Sutaria, born on November 19, 1995, in Mumbai, India, is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi cinema. She commenced her career as a singer in Disney India’s “Big Bada Boom” and later transitioned to acting, gaining recognition for her roles in sitcoms like “The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir” (2012) and “Oye Jassie” (2013).

In 2019, Tara made her big-screen debut with “Student of the Year 2,” earning her the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. Since then, she has headlined romantic dramas such as “Marjaavaan” (2019), “Tadap” (2021), and notable films like “Heropanti 2” (2022) and “Ek Villain Returns” (2022), as well as the survival thriller “Apurva” (2023).

Born to Himanshu Sutaria, a practicing Hindu, and Tina Sutaria, who hails from the Parsi community, Tara shares a close bond with her twin sister, Pia. Both sisters received extensive training in classical ballet, modern dance, and Latin American dances from prestigious institutions in the United Kingdom. Tara, a talented singer since the age of seven, honed her skills through professional training and participation in operas and competitions.

Educationally, Tara holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Media from St. Andrew’s College of Arts, Science, and Commerce.
