Rukmini Vasanth born on  10 December 1994 and she is a talented Indian actress, primarily recognized for her contributions to the Kannada film industry. She achieved widespread critical acclaim for her remarkable portrayal of the character Priya in the 2023 Kannada film “Sapta Sagaradache Ello.”

Born on December 10, 1994, in Bangalore, Karnataka, Rukmini hails from a Kannada-speaking family. Her father, Colonel Vasanth Venugopal, holds the distinction of being the first recipient from Karnataka to be honored with India’s highest peacetime military award, the Ashoka Chakra. Tragically, Colonel Vasanth Venugopal lost his life in 2007 while bravely thwarting heavily armed infiltrators attempting to cross the India-Pakistan border at Uri, Jammu and Kashmir. Rukmini’s mother, Subhashini Vasanth, is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer who has dedicated herself to establishing a foundation aimed at supporting war widows in Karnataka.

Rukmini’s educational journey took her through prestigious institutions like Army School, Air Force School, and the Centre for Learning. Her passion for acting led her to pursue a degree in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in Bloomsbury, London.
