Story:

In 2012, Harish Shankar released the action comedy Gabbar Singh in the Indian Telugu language. The film, which stars Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan, is based on the 2010 Hindi blockbuster Dabangg. The story centers on a police officer who sets out on a mission to remove a dishonest politician. The soundtrack for the movie was written by Devi Sri Prasad, and Jayanan Vincent shot the pictures. Venkataratnam, a policeman who goes under the name Gabbar Singh, was inspired by a character from a movie. He is assigned to a village where a local thug wants to get involved in politics and recruits his stepbrother.

The movie, which had a $30 crore budget, had its official premiere on August 18, 2011, in Hyderabad, with the majority of the filming taking place there. Released on May 11, 2012, it was hailed as a blockbuster and one of the highest-grossing Telugu movies of that time, bringing in almost 150 crore globally. At the 59th Filmfare Awards South, Kalyan took home the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. Sardaar Gabbar Singh, the follow-up, was published in 2016.

PLOT:
Living in Kondaveedu are Venkataratnam Naidu’s parents, his stepfather Naidu, and younger stepbrother Ajay. Venkataratnam is often enraged by his stepfather’s favoritism of his stepbrother. He quits caring what other people think of him and adopts the name “Gabbar Singh” from a fictional character. Gabbar Singh flees his house as his resentment toward his father and sibling rises. at control of him, his stepfather Naidu enrolls him at a boarding school far from Kondaveedu.

After 21 years, Gabbar Singh is a policeman assigned to the Kondaveedu region as the Circle Inspector (CI). He lives apart from them and harbors the same resentment against his brother and stepfather. She wants him to stay with her and Naidu even if he wants to live with her in his new home. Ajay is a gambling addict who owes the entire community money. During a police raid he leads against gambling, Gabbar Singh meets Bhagya Lakshmi, a handicrafts vendor, and they fall in love.

Siddhappa Naidu is a goon in Kondaveedu who hopes to win the next by-election to represent that district as its MLA with the assistance of his uncle. He want the support of the ruling party. Siddhappa attempts to like Gabbar Singh even though he hates him for getting in the way of his unlawful affairs. Siddhappa is told to behave himself by Gabbar Singh, who declines and claims to know who he is. Infuriated by Gabbar Singh’s reply, Siddhappa dispatches goons to disturb the Kondaveedu market yard. To reopen the market yard, Gabbar Singh approaches the goons and easily overcomes them.

Siddhappa, who is now furious, intends to kill Gabbar Singh, but his uncle urges him to talk to the Home Minister about removing Gabbar Singh from Kondaveedu. When the minister meets with Siddhappa and his uncle, he flatly rejects their proposal. Additionally, he counsels Siddhappa to reconcile with Gabbar Singh in order to protect his political ambitions.

Gabbar Singh encounters Bhagya Lakshmi in the meantime and makes a marriage proposal. She declines, stating that she must care for her ailing, alcoholic father and that she cannot get married while he is still alive. After that, Gabbar Singh returns home to see his mother dead. The last remaining family member, his stepfather, is where he goes to make amends. His stepfather views him as an outsider and rejects him. When Siddhappa’s men attack Gabbar Singh at the handicraft exhibition when he is with Bhagya Lakshmi, he kills them all in a struggle. He confronts Siddhappa, telling him to quit harassing him and that he will never let Siddhappa become a member of the legislature.

He agrees to kill his brother even though he has no intention of doing so in order to get away from them and meet Gabbar Singh. He admits to Gabbar that Siddhappa sent him to assassinate the other man. To get a confession against Siddhappa, Gabbar seeks to bring him before the commissioner. However, Siddhappa uses Gabbar’s phone to call him and confesses to killing Gabbar’s mother when visiting Gabbar’s former residence in pursuit of his money. Gabbar arrives at Siddhappa’s home, engages the thugs in a final struggle, and kills Siddhappa. Later, Gabbar Singh employs the majority of Siddhappa’s goons and assigns them to low-profile police positions.
