Indian music composer, multi-instrumentalist, and playback singer Sai Karthik is well known for his work in Telugu films. He initially worked as a percussionist for live performances before switching to film composition with the 2008 movie Aboo Adavallu. He also wrote the music for the 2015 film Pataas. His 75th film as a music director was Tenali Ramakrishna BA. BL, which came out in 2019.
After finishing his education at age 15, he began playing rhythm pads in public performances when he was just nine years old. He worked under the direction of music directors like Vandemataram Srinivas, Koti, Mani Sharma, S. P. Balasubramanyam, Devi Sri Prasad, and R. P. Patnaik after relocating to Chennai. He was a drummer and a pad player for more than 3000 live performances.
After that, he studied under Mani Sharma for six and a half years and collaborated with him on live performances across the US.
He debuted as a drummer and composer for the Telugu film Abbo Adavallu, and in 2015, Pataas became his first big-budget Telugu movie.
Raja Cheyi Vesthe in 2016 was Sai Kartheek 50th film as a music director.
