Naa Wife Missing

Story:

Naa Wife Missing is a Telugu psychological thriller that revolves around a missing-wife case, a troubled relationship and the mystery surrounding a husband’s account of what happened. Starring Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu Prasad, the film builds its central story around an incident that turns an ordinary marriage into a puzzling investigation. When a husband reports that his wife has disappeared, questions begin to emerge about their relationship, his statements and the circumstances leading up to her disappearance.

The story also explores how honesty, trust and personal judgments can affect a marriage. Shweta Basu Prasad’s character reveals a sensitive truth during the marriage-arrangement meeting, leaving Varun’s character shocked. Although the couple proceeds with the marriage, the wife’s sudden disappearance changes everything. As the husband approaches the police for help, his own suspicions and the unanswered questions surrounding their relationship make the case increasingly complicated.

Rather than relying only on the question of where the missing woman has gone, Naa Wife Missing appears to build suspense around what people choose to reveal, what they keep hidden and how differently the same relationship can be understood by two people. The investigation becomes a search for the truth, while viewers are encouraged to question the husband’s version of events and wonder what really happened.

Featuring Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu Prasad, who reunite on screen after their popular 2008 film Kotha Bangaru Lokam, the series combines marital drama, emotional conflict and psychological mystery. Directed by Swathi Prakash Mantripragada, it is scheduled to premiere on aha on October 22, 2026, in Telugu and Tamil.
