Plot
Sanju lost his job despite having a degree in computer engineering. Because he borrowed money from predatory moneylender Vatti Raja and is unable to repay the amount due to his lack of income, his life has become somewhat complicated. Due to his unemployment, Amu’s father Srinivas rejects her marriage to Sanju.
When Amu makes the decision to elope with Sanju, his friend Mani provides the funds so that he can settle his debt with Raja. While traveling, Sanju’s money is taken and Amu’s chain is taken. Raja gives Sanju a call and requests that he pay the debt by 5 PM. Sub-Inspector Padmavathi receives a complaint from Srinivas accusing Sanju of kidnapping Amu, along with his phone number.
Padmavathi calls Sanju and informs him that he needs to accompany Amu to the police station by 5 PM. However, there are still issues to deal with; Sanju’s brother-in-law demands money from him in order to launch a business by 5 PM and leaves him with a bill from a restaurant that Mani needs to pay once more.
However, Raja’s men kidnap Amu and stuff her in the dickey of his car, believing she is Manik’s girlfriend, who also needs to return money to Raja. Sanju is in severe need of solutions due to all of these issues. When Sanju spots Manik, he decides to take his chain, but by a stroke of luck, Manik gets struck by an automobile, and Sanju ends up rescuing him.
Posani Balakrishna, Manik’s brother and aspiring businessman, makes Sanju a job promise at the hospital. Sanju refuses to go along with him when he makes the decision to murder the car’s owner, who turns out to be Vaddi Raja. But when Padmavathi shows up, she informs us that Raja passed away in an accident.
A flashback reveals that Raja had also given Lighthouse (Shani Salmon), the guy who took Amu’s chain and Sanju’s money, a loan. Along with two others, he schemes to steal Raja’s car and keep the money for themselves. Even though everything goes according to plan, Raja and his men follow the other man behind the car.
Raja is killed when he is struck by a car during the chase; it later transpires that the driver was also under his debt, was instructed to hide his broken brakes, and also struck Manik. In the end, Sanju confronts the men who took his money and gets into a fight with them.
He discovers his money, and Amu discovers her chain in the car after realizing the chain thief was a member of Lighthouse’s gang as well. The film closes on a positive note when Sanju gives his brother-in-law the money and says, “Time is of two types: Both good and bad times. Good things always follow bad times in life.
