John Griffin is the creator of the American science fiction horror television series From (stylized in all capitals as FROM). On February 20, 2022, the first season debuted on Epix. Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Scott McCord, Ricky He, and Chloe Van Landschoot play key roles in the series.

The show’s plot, directing, and cast performances—especially those of Perrineau—have won praise from critics. In April 2023, the second season debuted on the newly renamed MGM+. In September 2024, the third season debuted. The show was renewed for a fourth season, which will debut in 2026, just before the third season ended in November 2024.

The show takes place in a terrifying American town that ensnares everybody who enters. In an attempt to find a way out, the hesitant citizens look for secrets hidden both inside and beyond the town while battling scary nocturnal animals from the nearby forest.

Boyd Stevens (Perrineau), the self-appointed sheriff and de facto mayor, and the Matthews family, newcomers who quickly learn they are stuck with the other occupants and must cooperate to survive and find a way out, are the main characters of the series.
