Biography:

Nandita Swetha, born on April 30, 1990, is a renowned Indian actress, model, dancer, and media figure prominently working in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She made her presence felt in the Kannada film industry with “Nanda Loves Nanditha” in 2008. Her acting journey began with the 2012 Tamil comedy “Attakathi,” followed by her Telugu debut in the 2016 horror-comedy “Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada.”

Starting as a VJ on Udaya Music during her school days, Nandita Swetha’s film career kicked off with the Kannada movie “Nanda Loves Nanditha” (2008), where her character’s name influenced her screen name. Her breakthrough came with the Tamil film “Attakathi” (2012), directed by Pa. Ranjith. She garnered praise for her performances, notably as an athlete in “Ethir Neechal” (2013) and as Kumudha in the comedy “Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara” (2013) alongside Vijay Sethupathi.

Her filmography includes releases like “Mundaasupatti,” “Nalanum Nandhiniyum,” “Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani” (2014), “Uppu Karuvaadu,” and “Puli” (2015), as well as “Anjala” and “Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada” (2016). Nandita Swetha was born as Swetha in Bangalore, Karnataka, to a business-minded father and a homemaker mother. She has two younger brothers and pursued her education at Christ University.
