Story:

Simha is a 2010 action comedy film in Telugu that was produced by Paruchuri Kireeti and directed by Boyapati Srinu under the United Movies banner. It’s a reimagining of the 2008 film Silambattam starring STR. In addition to Nayantara and Sneha Ullal, Nandamuri Balakrishna plays a dual character in the movie. Rahman, Sai Kumar, Adithya Menon, Namitha, Kota Srinivasa Rao, and K. R. Vijaya have supporting roles. Arthur Wilson provided the cinematography, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handled the editing, A. S. Prakash handled the art direction, and Chakri composed the music.

The blockbuster movie, which debuted on April 30, 2010, went on to become the highest-grossing Telugu movie of the year. For this movie, Balakrishna won his second Nandi Award for Best Actor.

Srimannarayana resides with his grandmother and works as a university lecturer in Hyderabad. His reputation for being both feared and respected comes from the fact that he beats up anyone who dares to defy the law and does not accept injustice anywhere. Mahima, a female lecturer, seduces him, but he doesn’t feel the same way. As he is subduing a thug who had threatened to hurl acid at a female for rejecting him, he inadvertently strikes a man who is unconscious and awakens him from his 28-year sleep. Veerakesavudu is the man’s name.

Janaki, a fresh student, enrols at the college where Srimannarayana teaches one day. After meeting him once before and observing how everyone in the institution fears him, she initially believes he is boisterous, but after learning more about him, she falls in love. She discloses her background one day after being saved from a bunch of goons by Srimannarayana. Gopi, a criminal and the son of Veerakesavudu, is in a commercial battle with her father, industrialist Jagadish Prasad. Fearing Veerakesavudu’s fury, Jagadish complied with Veerakesavudu’s command to give Janaki’s hand in marriage to Gopi in order to put an end to their mutual rivalry once he awoke from his coma.
