Gayatri Asokan, a prominent playback singer in Malayalam cinema, embarked on her musical journey with the song “Deena Dayalo Rama” for the film Arayannangalude Veedu under the guidance of music director Raveendran. Her talent quickly garnered recognition when she won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Singer in 2003 for “Enthe Nee Kanna” from Sasneham Sumitra. Notable contributions include “Chanjadi Adi” from Makalkku, “Thumbikkinnaram” from Naran, and “Pularumo” from Ritu.
