He walks beside his buddies Rani, Simhadri, and Kathari in order to attempt it. He thwarts the evil corporator Ghanta Ratthaiah at every turn and protects the public from his transgressions. A few years later, Manikyam becomes a wealthy man, and the city worships him. He is also successful in building his deity a sizable temple. Ratthaiah plans to steal free of charge a hospital run by Dr. Shakuntala Devi, a kind soul. She gets support from Manikyam in such situation, and they become friends. He also has feelings for his sister Swapna, who is in love with a man named Ravi. Manikyam chooses to make them wool.
The next time Shakuntala asks Manikyam for a favour and spins back, he promises to grant her anything. Her elders set up a nice match for her once she finished her education, and she then moves on to card distribution. As a result, she is approached by a demon in Nagarjuna Sagar, which renders the marriage void and kills her family. She is currently furious to see his blood. His hand tattooed name, Kaali, is the only clue that could lead to his capture. Manikyam is instantly perplexed and overcome with guilt because Kaali is none other than him. Manikyam used to work at Nagarjuna Sagar in order to honour his mother, whom he called Kaali. He once mauled Shakuntala when inebriated and delusional.
