Nagma Arvind Morarji is an Indian politician and former actress. She was born Nandita Arvind Morarji on December 25, 1974. She was a well-liked leading lady in the 1990s. In 1990, she made her acting debut in the Salman Khan-starring movie Baaghi. It was the seventh-highest grossing movie of the year in Hindi cinema. Her performances in movies like Gharana Mogudu (1992), King Uncle (1993), Suhaag (1994), Kadhalan (1994), Baashha (1995), and Lal Baadshah (1999) have made her well-known. In Bollywood, she began her acting career. Nagma has appeared in numerous regional language films, including those in Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi, Marathi, and Mandarin/Cantonese. She has acted in a variety of Indian language films, with a focus on Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Bhojpuri.

Nandita Arvind Morarji gave birth to Nagma on December 25, 1974. Her father, Arvind Morarji, had Jaisalmer-born ancestors who eventually migrated to Porbandar, Gujarat, and ultimately Mumbai. Gokuldas Morarji, her grandpa, was a well-known businessman in the shipping, textile, agricultural, and pharmaceutical sectors. Her mother Seema, formerly known as Shama Kazi, is a Muslim sprung from the Kazi line of independence fighters. At Mumbai’s CCI Club, she wed Morarji in 1969; however, they divorced in 1974. The mother of Nagma wed Chander Sadanah, a film producer, in March 1975 after divorcing Morarji in August 1974. They had three children together, including two daughters, the actors Jyothika and Roshini (born Radhika).
