Eventually, Ravi reciprocates her love, but their parents oppose their union. To test the strength of their bond, the parents stipulate that the couple must refrain from seeing each other for a year. If their love endures after this period, their parents will consent to their marriage.
Ravi’s father confines him to their home in Mumbai, while Vasundhara’s father arranges her marriage to another man in their hometown. Despite these obstacles, Ravi and Vasundhara flee. They find refuge in a garden where they toil for sustenance. However, Ravi’s father dispatches thugs to retrieve his son. Ultimately, the couple defies all odds and ties the knot in front of the Legislative Assembly, with their college friends rallying behind them in support.
