Story:

Maatho Pettukoku is a 1995 action movie in Telugu that was directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and produced by S. Gopal Reddy under the Bhargav Art Productions label. Nandamuri Balakrishna, Roja, and Rambha are the film’s leads, and Madhavapeddi Suresh wrote the soundtrack.

Sitamma, the kind daughter-in-law of a Zamindar, lives a happy life in the town where the film opens with her husband and their two identical children, Arjun and Kishtaiah. A spiteful son-in-law named Chakravarthy breaks into their home, kills Zamindar and his son, and takes their wealth. As a result, Sitamma swears not to scatter her husband’s ashes until she seeks revenge on Chakravarthy. However, all of that is abruptly disrupted by Chakravarthy’s attack. As the years pass, Kishtaiah is raised by the fearless Manikyam, who eventually turns into a pickpocket. He had a falling out with a mischievous girl named Latha, who happens to be the daughter of Mayor Geedapenta Basavaiah, Chakravarthy’s sidekick. In addition, Arjun becomes a strong-willed police officer and purposefully posts to his hometown.

While doing so, Bhavani, the vicious son of Chakravarthy, violates law and order and engages in a variety of trafficking and torts. After arriving, Arjun befriends Lakshmi, a handywoman, and develops feelings for her. Meanwhile, Latha goes back home, and Kishtaiah follows her. This leads to a convoluted drama that concludes in a comical way. Simultaneously, Sitamma waits for her children while living in a mad state in a temple, holding her husband’s ashes. When Kishtaiah finds her, she tells him about an unidentified bondage. Arjun captures him and destroys the Bhavani dynasty in the meantime. Aware of this, Chakravarthy confronts Arjun after landing to save his son. But Arjun uses his cunning to retaliate, closing all the roads. To release his son, Chakravarthy bribes a nefarious police officer named Venkata Rao. Arjun meets Bhavani after he strategically kills Venkata Rao. When Arjun confesses his identity, Chakravarthy becomes enraged and yells at him, promising to destroy him.

Chakravarthy then looks at the presence of two people who are similar. In order to achieve his desire to knit Latha, he so seduces Kishtaiah, and uses him as a ploy to kill Basavaiah and implicate Arjun. As Kishtaiah prepares to shoot during a public event, Mayor Sitamma fires on Chakravarthy, and Arjun captures her. When Manikyam recognises Kishtaiah as Sitamma’s son, Kishtaiah recognises this and steps in to save her under the appearance of Arjun. In the meantime, Arjun finds Sitamma’s luggage, identifies his mother, and they all come together. When Chakravarthy finally ends, Arjun and Kishtaiah submerge their father’s ashes. The happy ending of the film features the union of Arjun and Lakshmi, as well as Kishtaiah and Latha.
