Raju is a brave and energetic young guy who looks after four little orphans. In a charming hill station, he works as a tour guide. Unintentionally, one of the kids gets hurt. An ayurveda master prescribes herbs that are unique to the banks of Lake Manasarovar as the only treatment for the child’s wound.
To get these potent herbs, Raju travels to the Himalayas. Simultaneously, Indraja, the daughter of Lord Indra, makes an unexpected visit to Manasarovar. There, by chance, she drops her ring. Her ticket to heaven is this ring.
Unaware of the ring’s heavenly power, Raju discovers it and puts it on. Because she misplaced her ring, Indraja is unable to enter Heaven. The Deva-guru Brihaspathi gives her the order to return to Earth and get it before the next Kartik Poornima.
Raju’s hometown is visited by Indraja in her quest for the ring. She is originally thought to be insane due to her peculiar vocabulary and lack of emotional and social awareness. Her numerous admissions of divinity are a source of amusement.
She is given sanctuary in their home by Raju and the kids after they grow to care for her. She gets to know the kids well and frequently gets into problems when attempting to remove the ring from Raju.
Meanwhile, Raju finds himself embroiled in a moral dispute with the haughty millionaire KP. Raju and Indraja come under attack by KP’s men. Raju defeats them without realizing the ring is assisting him. KP begins to doubt Raju’s paranormal abilities.
KP goes up to Mahadrashta, a sorcerer who uses female sacrifices to gain power. After learning that Indraja is a celestial entity, Mahadrashta wishes to sacrifice her in order to attain immortality. Raju scares K. P. and his henchmen with the power of the ring.
In this period, Mahadrashta hypnotizes one of the children in an attempt to obtain it. The ring is taken by a monkey, which then takes it a great distance before dropping it in the Kumkuma bowl at the feet of a Hanuman statue. In vain, Raju and the children look for the ring.
To create the illusion that Indraja is a sorcerer, Mahadrashta and his men construct evidence at Raju’s house. After stones are thrown at Raju and Indraja, Mahadrashta picks Indraja up and leaves. After the children find the ring, Raju decides to try and save Indraja.
An Indraja under hypnosis is unable to hear or react to their cries. She loses her mind upon touching the ring and annihilates K. P. and his guys. Raju kills Mahadrashta because he thinks that good can triumph over evil without the need for the ring.
Kartik Poornima, the last appeal for Indraja to return to heaven, falls on the same evening. Her mind is filled with warm recollections of her time spent with Raju and the children. She is torn between her duty to return to heaven in order to maintain her divinity and immortality and her love for Raju. Resolving to return to Raju and resume a human life, Indraja discards her ring.
