Avane Srimannarayana

Story:

The Kannada-language western fantasy adventure comedy film Avane Srimannarayana was released in 2019 in India  was Sachin B. Ravi’s first directorial effort, and he was also the editor. Featuring Rakshit Shetty and Shanvi Srivastava in the key roles, the film was co-produced by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah and H.K. Prakash Karm Chawla was in charge of the cinematography, while B. Ajaneesh Loknath and Charan Raj collaborated on the soundtrack. In the 1980s, a corrupt police officer battles a bandit chief to retrieve a lost wealth, which Shetty has referred to as “Southern Odd Fiction”.

Rakshit Shetty, Chandrajith Belliappa, Anirudh Kodgi, Abhijith Mahesh, Nagarjuna Sharma, and Abhilash wrote the screenplay for the movie. Filming finally started in March 2018 and ended in June 2019, after the script was completed in 18 months after it was first revealed in February 2017. A massive set was built in Bengaluru, where 90% of the film’s production took place, and it was shot in segments throughout the North Karnataka region. The movie took 200 days to shoot, making it the longest Kannada movie ever made and the only one with the most call sheets.  There were 2000 VFX shots in the movie.

Avane Srimannarayana, which was made on a budget of ₹200–240 million, was released in Kannada on December 27, 2019 and made ₹560 million globally.  Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi were among the languages into which it was concurrently dubbed and released. On January 1, 2020, the Telugu version was made available. On January 3, 2020, the Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam versions were made available on Amazon Prime Video.
