Story:

The 2025 Hindi-language political drama film Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi was produced by Ritu Mengi under the Samrat Cinematics brand and directed by Ravindra Gautam. Officially, the movie came out on September 19, 2025. Anant Joshi plays Uttar Pradesh’s current chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, in the movie, which is based on Shantanu Gupta’s novel The Monk Who Became Chief Minister.

The film chronicles the inspirational journey of a young man from Uttar Pradesh’s (now Uttarakhand’s) highlands who became one of India’s most powerful political figures. It follows his development from a shy, reserved youngster to a Yogi and then a reformist politician. The narrative examines how he surmounted obstacles to become the leader of India’s largest state through his hardships, audacious choices, and unshakeable leadership.
