The Hindi biography Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi (2025), which is based on Shantanu Gupta’s novel The Monk Who Became Chief Minister, marks the acting debut of Indian actor Ajay Mengi. He appears on television alongside Paresh Rawal, Rajesh Khattar, Garima Singh, Pavan Malhotra, and Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’.
Ajay, who was born and raised in Jamshedpur, attended St. Joseph’s School before graduating from Nagpur with a Master’s in Computer Applications and then moving to the United States, where he became a prosperous real estate and hospitality entrepreneur. Ajey represents his long-awaited return to his first love, acting.
