Abhimanyu

Story:

“Abhimanyu” is a 1990 Indian Kannada-language action drama film, both written and directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty. The movie boasts a talented cast, including V. Ravichandran, Seetha, and Ananth Nag, with numerous other renowned actors appearing in supporting roles. The film’s musical elements, including the soundtrack and score, were composed by Hamsalekha.

The storyline of the film revolves around Inspector Abhimanyu (V. Ravichandran), who becomes aware that a notorious contract killer known as “Spot” Naga (Rami Reddy) has been assigned the task of assassinating his former mentor, who has since become the Chief Minister, G.K.S Master (Anant Nag). Abhimanyu embarks on a mission to protect his mentor and thwart Naga’s sinister plans.

It’s worth noting that “Abhimanyu” is a remake of the Telugu film “Ankusam,” which was released in the same year (1990). In a protest scene within the film, Ravi Teja makes a brief appearance as a student leader.
