Veeraswamy Ravichandran

Biography:

Veeraswamy Ravichandran is a versatile figure in the Indian film industry, specifically in the Kannada Film Industry. He is not only an actor but also a director, producer, music director, lyricist, and editor. He is the son of the renowned film producer N. Veeraswamy and continues to manage his father’s production house, Sri Eswari Productions.

He is affectionately referred to as the “Crazy Star,” a title bestowed upon him by his devoted fans. Ravichandran is celebrated for his pioneering contributions to the Kannada film industry, notably beginning with the film “Premaloka” in 1987.

Ravichandran was born on May 30, 1961, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, to parents Tamil Mudaliyar N. Veeraswamy and Pattammal. His father, N. Veeraswamy, was a prominent producer of Kannada films.

On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1986, Ravichandran tied the knot with Sumathi. The couple has been blessed with a daughter named Geethanjali and two sons, Manoranjan and Vikram. Manoranjan made his debut in the acting world with the film “Saheba” in 2017.
