The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT)

Story:

The Greatest of All Time (also known as The GOAT) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language science fiction action film directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment. Starring Vijay in dual roles, the film features an ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Meenakshi Chaudhary.

Initially, Atlee was slated to direct the project, but later, Prabhu was brought on board. The film was officially announced in May 2023 under the tentative title Thalapathy 68, as it marks Vijay’s 68th film in a leading role. The official title was unveiled in December 2023. Principal photography commenced in October 2023, with filming locations spanning Chennai, Thailand, Hyderabad, Sri Lanka, Pondicherry, Thiruvananthapuram, and Dubai. The film’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Venkat Raajen. It is set to release on September 5, 2024, coinciding with Vinayagar Chathurthi.
