Meenakshi Chaudhary

Biography:

Meenakshi Chaudhary is an Indian model, beauty pageant champion, and actress who works in the Telugu cinema industry. She is from Panchkula, Haryana. She competed as a representative of the state of Haryana and won the title of Miss Grand India at the Femina Miss India 2018 pageant.

She also represented India and finished first runner up at the Miss Grand International 2018 competition. In Panchkula, Haryana, Chaudhary was born on March 5th, 1997. Col. B.R. Chaudhary, her late father, was a colonel in the Indian Army. She finished her studies at Chandigarh’s St. Soldier International Convent School.

She is currently attending the National Dental College in Dera Bassi, Punjab, where she plans to earn her BDS—bachelor of dental surgery. She excels in badminton and swimming at the state level.

With the official adaption of the BBC drama series Doctor Foster called Out of Love, Chaudhary made her acting debut. She portrayed Alia Kashyap, a 22-year-old who deals with hardship, stress, and the fallout from dating a married person.

She was chosen to play the lead role alongside Sushanth Akkineni in the Telugu film Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu in 2020. In addition to working on her dental degree and taking on modelling jobs, Chaudhary had enrolled in workshops. She first ran into the actor Sushanth Akkineni here. She said, “Funnily, neither of us knew who the other was,” in reference to her debut movie with the actor. I was unaware that he was an actor.
