Story:

Sriwass is the director of the 2023 Telugu-language action drama film Ramabanam, which is based on a story by Bhupathi Raja.Gopichand, Dimple Hayathi, Jagapathi Babu, Nassar, Vennela Kishore, Tarun Arora, and Sachin Khedekar are among the ensemble cast members that star in it. Mickey J. Meyer wrote the background score and soundtrack.

When Ramabanam was released on May 5, 2023, it bombed at the box office and garnered mixed to negative reviews from critics.

Living with his wife Bhuvaneshwari, younger brother Vikram “Vicky,” and other family members, Rajaram operates a restaurant. Rajaram aspires to a tranquil, law-abiding lifestyle, but Vicky becomes rebellious when they encounter injustice. Following a fight with rival restaurateur Paparao, Vicky sets fire to his home, where Rajaram tries to coerce Vicky into turning herself in to the authorities. Vicky flees to Kolkata as a result, leaving his hometown behind. Years later, under the guidance of his adoptive father Guptha, Vicky rises to prominence as a criminal in Kolkata and develops feelings for a girl named Bhairavi, who returns the favour. But because Bhairavi’s father thinks Vicky is an orphan, he rejects the union. Bhairavi travels to Hyderabad with Vicky to meet his family.

The family is happy that Vicky is back after a long absence and accepts the relationship without question, even though they were unaware of his criminal past. At this point, Vicky learns that GK, a well-known food manufacturer and Paparao’s son-in-law, is a threat to his family. Rajaram, who openly disparaged GK Foods and made an effort to reveal the company’s adulteration procedures, and GK are at odds. GK arranged for a shipment of food that Rajaram had donated to an orphanage to be contaminated in retaliation, leaving the kids who ate it hospitalised and in critical condition. Rajaram has told the family to keep up a front in front of Vicky even though he faces the possibility of going to jail at any time.

After realising the problems, Vicky decides to exact revenge and gradually removes all of the obstacles that GK had put in the way. These obstacles include the cancellation that GK had managed to bring back for Rajaram’s daughter’s wedding and the stopping of several attempts by the family to harm them. The rest of the family, including Rajaram, is blissfully ignorant of Vicky’s behaviour. When Bhairavi’s family gets to Hyderabad, they arrange for her to get engaged to Vicky. Vicky closes in on Bailuraju, their family associate and GK’s employee who was also in charge of the children’s food poisoning. To kill Bailuraju, though, GK brings Mukherjee, Vicky’s adversary. Vicky is unable to save Bailuraju, who passes away despite having promised Vicky that he would turn approver, while fending off Mukherjee’s thugs.

Rajaram witnesses the altercation and learns of Vicky’s actual occupation. Vicky is thrown out of the house, and their marriage is dissolved. GK has Rajaram and the hospital children abducted on the day of the court hearing with the intention of turning Rajaram into a wanted man and killing them all. Vicky finds Rajaram, but GK and his henchmen manage to subdue him. Rajaram retaliates after realising what Vicky has done for them, aiding Vicky in fending off the thugs and sparing the kids. When they get to court, a scientist who worked for GK’s organisation and learned of the unethical ways GK produced food as well as a video confession from Bailuraju before his death inform the judge of GK’s actions. Vicky and his family are reunited while GK and Paparao receive prison sentences.
