Story:

Kedi is a 2010 Telugu-language action movie from India that was directed by Kiran Kumar and produced by D.Sivaprasad Reddy under the Kamakshi Movies banner.

Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mamta Mohandas play the lead roles in the movie, while Ankur Vikal plays the antagonist. Sandeep Chowtha, who previously composed the music for Nagarjuna’s films Ninne Pelladutha (1996), Chandralekha (1998), and Super (2005), is the composer of the soundtrack. The movie came out on February 12, 2010.Singa Vettai, the Tamil version, was also released.

Before marrying Janaki, his childhood friend, Ramesh, also known by the moniker Rummy (Nagarjuna), wants to become wealthy and powerful. With this goal in mind, Rummy begins to gamble and quickly becomes wealthy.

After noticing his actions, ACP Sekhar (Shayaji Shinde) makes an effort to apprehend him. After moving to Goa, Rummy meets Chandra (Ankur), a bar owner who also manages a casino, and they strike a deal.

As he completes the assignment, Rummy saves Sara (Paula) from Victor. Nadia (Linda), Sara’s sister, develops feelings for him. Sandhya (Mamta Mohandas), another woman, comes into his life. She assists him with his assignment. In the meantime, Rummy and Chandra grow apart and start to compete. The remainder of the story is shaped by Rummy’s encounter with Janaki in this situation.

Before the producers decided on Kedi, the movie’s title was changed multiple times during production, from Rummy to Mayagadu to Mosagadu. The film was also released with a Tamil dubbing under the name Singa Vettai. Additionally, the movie was dubbed in Hindi as Gambler No 1. The Greek island of Milos is where the music video for the song “Neeve Na Neeve Na” was recorded.
