TheatreMari Selvaraj is the writer and director of the upcoming Tamil-language sports drama film Bison (also known as Bison: Kaalamaadan) in India. Sameer Nair, Deepak Seigal, Pa. Ranjith, and Aditi Anand are co-producers under the Applause Entertainment and Neelam Studios banners. In addition to Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, and Kalaiyarasan, the film’s main actors include Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran.
The film, which is Dhruv’s third film in the starring role, was formally announced in December 2020 under the provisional title DV03; the official title was revealed in May 2024. In Chennai, principal photography started that same month and was completed by the middle of February 2025. Ezhil Arasu K. handled the film’s cinematography, Sakthi Thiru edited it, and Nivas K. Prasanna composed the soundtrack.
