Mari Selvaraj is an Indian film director known for his work in Tamil cinema. He started his journey in the industry in 2006 with aspirations of becoming an actor but eventually found his calling as an assistant director under the guidance of filmmaker Ram. He worked on three films as an assistant director: “Kattradhu Thamizh” (2007), “Thanga Meenkal” (2013), and “Taramani” (2017).

In 2018, Mari Selvaraj made his directorial debut with “Pariyerum Perumal,” a film that received widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences. The movie was lauded for its storytelling and performances and emerged as one of the successful films of the year.
