Baby John

Story:

Kalees is the director of the upcoming action thriller in Hindi, Baby John, which is an adaptation of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri. Alongside Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff, Varun Dhawan plays the title role in this Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, and A for Apple Productions production.

The movie was officially released in February 2024 after being announced in July 2023 under the working title VD18.  Principal photography was place in Mumbai and Kerala from August 2023 to April 2024. Ruben and Kiran Koushik handled the filming and editing, while Thaman S wrote the soundtrack. The release date of Baby John is set for December 25, 2024.

DCP Satya Verma, also known as “Baby John,” pretends to be dead and hides away to raise his daughter in a secure atmosphere. However, things become messy when Satya’s old adversary, politician Babbar Sher, threatens their life, forcing him to face him head-on in order to keep his daughter safe.
