Pogaru

Story:

Nanda Kishore is the director and B. K. Gangadhar is the producer of the 2021 Indian Kannada-language action drama film Pogaru. Rashmika Mandanna, Chikkanna, P. Ravi Shankar, Pavitra Lokesh, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Sampath Raj, Dhananjay, Kai Greene, Morgan Aste, and Dharma are among the actors who star in the movie with Dhruva Sarja.

V. Harikrishna composed the musical score, and Chandan Shetty composed the soundtrack. Vijay Milton and S. Mahesh S. were in charge of the cinematography and editing, respectively. The film was originally supposed to be shot in both Kannada and Telugu at the same time, but that plan was abandoned, and the Telugu and Tamil dubbed versions were produced, with the Tamil version being called Semma Thimiru.

Plot

Since his father was a witness to JB’s misdeeds, a young Shiva loses his father, who was murdered by JB. Unaware of his father’s passing, Shiva finds out from his dying grandmother that his mother Lakshmi had remarried Executive Officer Ramakrishna. The grandmother then demands that Shiva vow to look after Lakshmi. He accepts and requests that Lakshmi accompany him in the absence of Ramakrishna and his daughter, Shiva’s sister. Shiva turns as a rogue because Lakshmi doesn’t agree. Years later, he turns into a well-known outlaw who despises Ramakrishna and his daughter for stealing Lakshmi. Shiva meets Geetha, a teacher, and is won over by her kindness.

Ramakrishna objects to JB’s plan to seize the colony. Daali, JB’s son, enlists Shiva’s assistance. Shiva consents and has Ramakrishna taken into custody. He also brings his sister to Daali’s hiding place, but when he sees how much his sister loves him, he beats Daali and his goons. After being hurt in the altercation, Shiva’s sister is brought to the hospital. Lakshmi chastises Shiva and orders him to keep his face hidden. Shiva confides in Lord Hanuman about his problems, and Geetha also acknowledges her error and makes amends with Shiva. When Daali enters a coma, JB becomes furious and abducts the colony’s children to burn them alive. Shiva beats JB’s bodyguards and burns JB alive after saving them. Shiva makes amends and gets back together with his family.
