Nitham Oru Vaanam

Story:

“Nitham Oru Vaanam” is a 2022 Indian Tamil romantic drama film directed by Ra. Karthik in his directorial debut. The movie stars Ashok Selvan in a triple role, alongside Ritu Varma, Aparna Balamurali, and Shivathmika Rajashekar.

The plot centers around Arjun, a young man with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), who struggles with social interactions and dislikes stepping out of his comfort zone. He finds solace in imagining himself as the protagonist of stories he reads. When he meets Janani, he starts developing feelings for her. However, their relationship hits a roadblock when Janani decides to reconcile with her ex-boyfriend, leaving Arjun heartbroken.

To help him cope with his depression, Arjun’s doctor suggests he reads short stories she wrote about two other couples: Veera-Meenakshi and Mathi-Prabha. These stories form three distinct arcs within the film, offering different perspectives on love, relationships, and overcoming obstacles.
