Ilavarasu is an Indian professional active in the Tamil film industry, where he has made a mark as both a cinematographer and actor. He commenced his career as a cinematographer and contributed to the visual aspect of 13 films, achieving recognition through his work and even earning a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for one of his cinematographic endeavors. However, it was his transition into acting that brought him greater recognition, especially for his pivotal roles in films directed by luminaries like Bharathiraja and Cheran. Ilavarasu’s acting career has seen him appear in more than 160 Tamil films, predominantly in supporting and comedic roles.

Ilavarasu’s journey in the film industry had an intriguing start.
