American actress Greta Jiehan Lee was born on March 7, 1983. Both the Apple TV+ drama series The Morning Show (2021–present) and the Netflix comedy-drama series Russian Doll (2019–2022) included her in minor parts. For the latter, she received a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, a Primetime Emmy Award. Her leading performance in the romantic drama film Past Lives (2023) brought her notoriety, and she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
A House of Dynamite (2025), Late Fame (2025), and Problemista (2023) are among Lee’s other cinematic roles. In the animated superhero movies Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023), she provided the voice of Lyla. Lee is also well-known for her theater appearances; in 2007, she debuted on Broadway in the musical comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She starred in the Amy Herzog play 4000 Miles (2011) at Lincoln Center Theatre and the 2010 Broadway and West End revival of the comedy play La Bête.
