TheatreStory:
Gayapadda Simham, the upcoming eccentric entertainer, Tharun Bhascker once again went with a novel plan. Produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Bansal under the banners of Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories, and Zee Studios, Kasyap Sreenivas is the film’s writer and director. Pavan Sadineni, who is now directing Aakasamlo Oka Tara by Dulquer Salmaan, presents it. After generating excitement with an ingenious title poster, the team has now released an entertaining and captivating Traiser. The movie is about a young man who, since he was a young boy, has wanted to move to the United States. With high hopes, the protagonist eventually gets his goal and takes a plane to America. However, President Donald Trump abruptly orders the greatest deportation operation in US history, so his joy is short-lived.
The story’s main focus is on the protagonist’s struggle to survive and deal with this predicament. This topical and accessible topic is humorously addressed by Kasyap Sreenivas. From an Indian perspective, The Traiser suggests a humorous and eccentric interpretation of the American Dream. The effect is increased by the combination of Pelli Choopulu-style humor and a KGF-style presentation. Tharun Bhascker’s comic timing and emotional range are excellent; he moves fluidly from naiveté to annoyance.
In one particular scene, Tharun Bhascker makes fun of his own movie, Pelli Choopulu, by claiming that it is overrated. Maanasa Choudhary portrays Tharun’s romantic interest, while Faria Abdullah and Subhalekha Sudhakar provide further humor with their KGF-style storyline. The hero’s friend is Vishnu Oi. Vidya Sagar Chinta’s cinematography adds visual depth, and Sweekar Agasthi’s music uplifts the mood. The narrative was written by Surya Prakash Jyosula. The release date of Gayapadda Simha is set for the summer of 2026.
