Vijay Vishwa, previously known as Abi Saravanan, is an Indian actor renowned for his roles in Tamil language films. His filmography includes notable appearances in movies such as “Touring Talkies” (2015) and “Saahasam” (2016).
Following the completion of his engineering degree, Abi Saravanan aspired to pursue a career in acting and began seeking opportunities within the film industry. He initiated his journey by taking on minor supporting roles in films like “Attakathi” (2012) and “Kutti Puli” (2013). His breakthrough came when he secured the lead role in S. S. Kumaran’s production, “Kerala Nattilam Pengaludane” (2014), portraying a young man on a quest for a life partner. His subsequent project was “Touring Talkies” (2015), in which he depicted a younger version of S. A. Chandrasekhar’s character. He later assumed a supporting role in Prashanth’s “Saahasam” (2016).
In 2015, he participated in various small-budget ventures like “Plus or Minus,” directed by newcomer Jai, the horror film “Irayan” by Saravanan Periasamy, “Andha Oru Naal,” and “Nadakkam”. In November 2016, Abi ventured to Nagapattinam District to extend assistance to those affected by the Gaja Cyclone. Additionally, he aided flood-stricken individuals in Assam in 2019. Notably, in 2021, he opted to change his name to Vijay Vishwa.
