Story:

The Telugu-language comedy film Vivaha Bhojanambu, directed by Ram Abbaraju, was released in 2021. Aarjavee, Sundeep Kishan, and Satya are the film’s stars. Producing it are Sundeep Kishan and K. S. Sinish. This marks producer Sundeep Kishan’s third feature film.

On August 27, 2021, the movie debuted on SonyLiv. The narrative revolves around a miser whose wealthy in-laws become imprisoned at his house during the first COVID-19 lockdown in India.

Plot
Anitha comes from a wealthy family that owns multiple hotels and leads opulent lives. Her partner, Mahesh, works as an insurance agent and will stop at nothing to save a little cash. Anitha’s father Radhakrishna is especially hostile to him when they first meet because they don’t like his appearance and are surprised by his modest home.

Nonetheless, because Anitha and her grandfather are from the same caste, he supports their union. Mahesh is delighted when the marriage plans are lowered in light of the COVID-19 pandemic in India; their wedding is tasteful but intimate, attended only by their two families.

After suffering an injury, Anitha’s grandfather must stay for a few days. The COVID-19 lockdown in India was declared with only a few hours’ notice.The in-laws attempt to leave, but during the lockdown they are forced to stay at Mahesh’s house due to a punctured tire.

Antics ensue as everyone deals with COVID and the lockdown, Mahesh is shocked by the cost of feeding his in-laws and their lifestyle, and his in-laws are irritated by his stinginess and poor living conditions. An inquiry about Mahesh and Anitha’s meeting arises during the Deepavali festivities.

Mahesh has a rare blood group and was involved in an accident. Anitha gave him an anonymous blood donation. He had to attend an English night class later on, which she just so happened to teach. He follows her around after learning what she did, and she returns the favor.

Mahesh attempts to smuggle his in-laws back home in the present using a fictitious ambulance driven by Nellore Prabha; however, due to his rage management problems, reckless driving, and hallucinations, they get into an accident and are apprehended by the police, necessitating Mahesh to bail them out at the expense of his gold necklace.

Over time, Radhakrishna begins to suspect that Mahesh is not actually the son of his parents. He sets up a trap, and it turns out that Mahesh is actually an orphan living with his friend—the real son of his “parents”—after becoming suspicious.

Mahesh is frugal because he was raised in extreme poverty and wants to accumulate enough cash for a down payment on a home. Strongly believing in caste, Radhakrishna threatens to tell Anitha’s grandfather about the ruse but chooses not to because of cardiac issues.

Later, Anitha’s grandfather receives a call from the hotel manager informing him that one of the staff members stole all of their money, shocking and nearly killing him. Mahesh uses the money he had saved for a house to pay for the surgery because all of their contacts are refusing to pay because of pandemic concerns, but Radhakrishna still rejects him.

Anitha calls him out, pointing out that Mahesh is the right person for her because he gave away his money without thinking. After a few more weeks, the lockdown finally ends, allowing the family to return home. When Mahesh appears, Nellore Prabha—who has since been cured of his hallucinations—hits their car, and as they battle off a still-angry Prabha, Radhskrishna finally accepts Mahesh as his son-in-law.
