Sundeep Kishan‘s film “Mazaka“, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, was released on February 26th. The film is produced by Rajesh Danda under the Hasya Movies banner, with Anil Sunkara co-producing under AK Entertainments.

Ritu Varma plays the female lead, while Anshu Ambani makes a comeback with this movie. The story and screenplay are penned by Prasanna Kumar. Despite the festival holiday advantage, the film opened to mixed reviews and couldn’t fully capitalize on the Shivaratri release.

“Mazaka” has done a theatrical business of Rs. 10.5 crore, it needs to collect Rs. 11 crore share to break even. On its first day, the film earned a Rs. 1.50 crore share, leaving a target of Rs. 9.5 crore to break even. In terms of gross collections, it managed to earn Rs. 2.7 crore on Day 1.
