Rajesh Jais, an Indian film actor born on 6th September 1969, is well-known for his contributions to the entertainment industry. He gained fame through his appearances in various television shows and movies. Some of his notable works include the first Indian daily soap, “Shanti” (1994), as well as roles in “Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar,” “Mili,” “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” (2018), “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” (2008), “Rocket Singh” (2009), “Airlift” (2016), “Raazi” (2018), “Raman Raghav 2.0” (2016), “Missing” (2018), “Life Partner” (2009), “Why Cheat India” (2019), “Indoo Ki Jawani” (2020), “Roohi” (2021), and several acclaimed web series, such as “Scam 1992,” “Paatal Lok,” “Panchayat,” “Rana Naidu,” “Jehanaba,” and “Rudrakal.”
Rajesh Jais spent his early years in Ranchi, where his family settled after migrating from Kandahar to Sukhdeo Nagar following the partition of India. His father served in the Airforce. He completed his matriculation at Guaridutt Mandeliya school and pursued his graduation at Marwari college in Ranchi. During his college years, he was involved in NCC Airforce Cadet and Scout activities. He further honed his acting skills at the National School of Drama from 1988 to 1991.
Aside from his work in films and television, Rajesh Jais has also appeared in more than 40 advertisements for prominent National and International brands, including Samsung, Maruti, Pepsodent, Bajaj Capital, Saffola, Subway, Tech Mahindra, Whirlpool, TCS, Bingo, Hyundai, Dollar, UFO, Bandhan Bank, LIC, DSN, Reliance Big, Birla White, 7’o’clock, Phoenix, and Indian Oil.
Throughout his career, he has delivered memorable performances in various shows and series, such as “Shanti,” “Sorry Meri Lorry,” “Zanjeeren,” “Jai Jai Tridev,” “Trikaal,” “Is Pyaar ko kya Naam du,” “Chacha Choudhary,” “Great Experiments,” “Shanno ki Shaadi,” “Dishaayen,” “Kya Mast Hai Life,” “Sapno ke Bhanwar Me,” “Malini Iyer,” “Kagaar,” “Shastri Sisters,” and many others.
Recently, audiences have seen him portraying the role of an SBI Manager in “Scam 1992” on Sony Liv. He has also appeared in web series like “Pataallok,” “Panchayat,” and “Rudrakal” on Amazon Prime and Disney Hotstar, respectively.
