TheatreThe 1995 Telugu-language comedy Sisindri was produced by Nagarjuna and directed Siva Nageswara Rao. Akhil Akkineni, the son of Nagarjuna, makes his debut in the film. Playing supporting roles are Nagarjuna Akkineni, Giri Babu, Tanikella Bharani, Sudhakar, Aamani, Sarath Babu, and Subhalekha Sudhakar. Raj wrote the music for his first feature film. The 1994 American movie Baby’s Day Out served as the inspiration for the movie.
At the Filmfare Awards South, Akhil Akkineni took home the Special Award for Best Child Actor.Chutti Kuzhandhai was the Tamil name given to the movie.
When wealthy businessman Sarath Kumar discovers that his cousin Shivaji has embezzled company funds, he fires him. With the assistance of Jakkanna, Akkanna, and Madanna, Shivaji kidnaps his one-year-old baby Sisindri in an attempt to settle scores, which instills fear in Sarath Kumar and his wife Geetha. However, Sisindri proves to be more intelligent than his kidnappers.
