Theatre“Singham” is a 2011 Indian action film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment. It stars Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, a police officer. The movie, a remake of a Tamil film with the same name, was a huge success at the box office, earning over ₹1.57 billion worldwide against a budget of ₹410 million.
The success of “Singham” led to the sequel “Singham Returns” in 2014. Devgn continued to play the lead role in Shetty’s subsequent films “Simmba” (2018) and “Sooryavanshi” (2021), forming Shetty’s Cop Universe.
A sequel to “Singham Returns” titled “Singham Again” is scheduled for release in 2024, continuing the story from the previous films in the series.
