Biography:

Born on August 22, 1974, Sudhanshu Pandey is a versatile Indian personality known for his roles as an actor, model, singer, writer, and producer. Among his notable portrayals is Vanraj Shah in the popular TV series “Anupamaa” and its prequel “Anupama: Namaste America.” Having worked across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, Pandey embarked on his career in the early 90s as a model before making his debut in the television industry with the show “Kanyadaan” in 1998.

His initiation into Bollywood was marked by the film “Khiladi 420,” where he played a co-lead alongside Akshay Kumar. In 1999, Pandey gained recognition for featuring in the song “Maikhane se Sharab se” from Pankaj Udhas’s album “Mahek.” Subsequently, he joined India’s pioneering music band, A Band of Boys, in 2001 but withdrew in 2005 due to financial considerations.

The actor extended his presence to Tamil cinema during the 2010s, notably as the main antagonist in “Billa II” (2012) alongside Ajith Kumar. He continued to impress with roles in films like “Meaghamann” (2014), “Indrajith” (2017), and the blockbuster “2.0” (2018). Pandey’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his production house, Raw Stock Production Private Limited.

Under this banner, he produced a music video titled “Teri Adaa” in 2018, where he also served as a lyricist. Additionally, he co-produced a short film named “Fitrat” in 2021 alongside Tahir Baig. From 2020 onwards, Pandey gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Vanraj Shah in the TV series “Anupamaa.” This role significantly increased his popularity among Hindi-speaking audiences.

In 2022, Pandey revisited the character of Vanraj Shah in the eleven-episode prequel web series “Anupama: Namaste America,” which is available on Disney+ Hotstar. Expanding his artistic endeavors, Pandey entered the music scene in 2023 with his second solo single, “Dil Ki Tu Zameen,” featuring Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty.

On the personal front, Sudhanshu Pandey is happily married to Mona Pandey, and the couple is blessed with two sons, Nirvaan and Vivaan Pandey.
