Plot
One day, while attending a wedding in Mumbai, Shiva, a small-time robber, falls in love with Paro from Patna. Because he loves Paro so much, he tells her the truth about his line of work and decides to stop committing crimes. He chooses to carry out a big robbery with his con-friend 2G before promising her to stop committing crimes. This would allow him to make a lot of money and lead a comfortable life. At a train station, he “tricks” a woman before escaping with a trunk. This leads Shiva to Chinki, a young child rather than the riches he believed to be in the trunk. Chinki thinks he is her dad.
Confused, he must keep Chinki with him while Vishal Sharma, an honest police officer, watches over him. Shiva worries that if Paro finds him with Chinki, he may lose her forever. He discovers a picture of Chinki with her father, who resembles Shiva identically, and understands why Chinki believes Shiva is her father. Chinki’s father turns out to be ASP Vikram Rathore, a fearsome, disciplined, and well-respected police officer. Vikram suffers significant brain damage after being struck by an automobile while pursuing a thug to locate his daughter. The physician informs him that the brain damage is severe enough to endanger his life.
A few days later, Shiva loses patience with Chinki and smashes the tape recorder she needs to hear her mother’s voice. He finds out about her mother’s passing the following morning. He fixes the recorder out of guilt and grows to love and care for Chinki. Sadly, Paro believes he concealed a daughter from her after seeing this, and she is devastated and departs for Patna. The thugs pursuing Vikram soon catch sight of Shiva. They begin pursuing him, believing him to be Vikram. As Shiva and Chinki run for their life, they come upon the woman from the train station, who orders Shiva to go. The thugs quickly surround Shiva, but despite suffering serious injuries, Vikram manages to save him and vanquish them.
Shiva discovers at the hospital that the woman from the train station is actually Inspector Razia Khan, a real police officer. The officers describe the entire episode and inform Shiva that the man who resembles him is Vikram.
As the new ASP, Vikram visited a village named Devgarh six months ago. There, a thug named Baapji and his son Munna stirred up problems by torturing and demanding money from the locals. Because of Baapji’s political clout, Munna was freed after Vikram forcibly detained him for raping Vishal’s wife. Munna’s release was celebrated with a party organised by Baapji. Munna forced the police officers pull down their trousers and humiliated them during the party.
The next target, Vikram, returned to the balcony, where Munna slipped off and perished. The following day, while defending a local youngster, Vikram was shot in the head and stabbed in the back by Baapji’s brother Titla during a Ramlila celebration. At that point, it was thought he was dead. He began to breathe, having survived, while the cops were preparing to bury him. Everyone pledged not to tell anyone about this. Vikram was then transported by the cops to Mumbai for medical care.
The doctors inform Shiva that Vikram doesn’t have much time left after hearing the entire tale. Vikram asks Shiva to look for Chinki before he passes away. Shiva declares that Chinki is now his daughter and makes a commitment. After Vikram dies, Shiva assumes his identity and travels to Devgarh with Chinki in order to exact revenge. After learning the truth, Paro quickly makes amends with him. Shiva distributes the grains and money back to the people, sets Baapji’s spirits factory on fire, and has the police torture Baapji and his men while they are imprisoned. After a dramatic finale, Shiva ultimately murders Baapji and Titla and saves Paro and Chinki from being abducted by them. The narrative concludes with Shiva, Paro, and 2G departing on a train with Chinki, most likely back to Mumbai, and Devgarh returning to safe hands.
