Tanya Hope is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil films. She initially pursued a modeling career and achieved recognition as Miss India Kolkata 2015, having also been a finalist in the Femina Miss India 2015 competition. Tanya made her acting debut in 2016 with the Telugu film “Appatlo Okadundevadu.”
Born and raised in Bangalore, Tanya Hope is the daughter of businessman Ravi Puravankara. She completed her education at Sacred Heart Girls High School in Bangalore and later pursued a degree in international relations at the University of Westminster, England. Her modeling training took place at Tiara Training Studios. In 2015, she secured the title of FBB Femina Miss India Kolkata.
In her career, she has appeared in Telugu films like “Patel S. I. R.” and ventured into Tamil cinema with “Thadam.” Tanya played the role of Jessie in the Kannada film “Home Minister” alongside Upendra, directed by Sujay k. Srihari, and also starred in “Paper Boy” alongside Santosh Sobhan.
Notably, Tanya Hope was one of the lead actresses in Darshan’s 51st film, “Yajamana,” and gained attention for her role in the hit song “Basanni” in the film.
