Story:

The life and work of well-known Indian public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam are the subject of the biographical legal play Prahaar: The Ujjwal Nikam Story. The narrative, which is directed by Avinash Arun, examines the compelling legal disputes surrounding significant terror cases in India’s judicial history, with a special emphasis on the trial of key suspect Ajmal Kasab and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Nikam’s high-stakes quest for justice is followed throughout the story, which depicts the intense strain and public scrutiny he suffered during the proceedings. In a dramatic monologue in the teaser, the prosecutor promises to prosecute the offenders and make sure the lead suspect is executed. In addition to Kasab’s trial, the movie emphasizes his role in the 2008 Mumbai Train Attacks and the 1993 Bombay Blasts. Rajkummar Rao plays the title role in the biographical drama, with Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sikander Kher among the ensemble cast.
